Happy fall, Bulldog Nation! We are sharing the Fall 2021 edition of the Bowie High School 2017 Bond Program Newsletter. This update contains information on the modernized spaces and construction progress.
Why It Matters
Over Summer 2021, the new athletics facilities were completed and opened to students on the first day of school. The athletics facilities are part of the larger modernization work taking place at Bowie High School. The project also includes the parking garage, tennis courts and marching band practice lot that opened to students last year.
Happening Now
Work continues on the fine arts renovations, which are expected to be complete in July 2022 and open for students in August 2022. The modernization will include improvements to the existing spaces and expansion of the auditorium.
What’s Next
All modernized spaces at Bowie High are expected to be completed in Fall 2022. At that time, AISD will host a grand opening ceremony for the campus community to celebrate the new spaces.
