You are invited to join Austin ISD and Brentwood Elementary School for an important community meeting regarding the modernization of our campus tomorrow, Tuesday, November 19 from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Brentwood cafeteria.
We will start the meeting at 6 p.m. with a presentation related to swing space planning, including campus constraints and the benefits of swinging off-site during construction. This presentation will cover the key details related to questions we’ve heard from families and community members.
Following the presentation, attendees are encouraged to visit stations that will be set up to provide feedback and receive additional details for topics including Brentwood Campus Construction + Constraints, Swing Space Location + Logistics, Transportation, as well as Budget + Costs. AISD staff and members of the project team will be available at each station to listen to feedback and answer any specific questions that are not addressed by the presentation.
For anyone who is unable to attend tomorrow’s meeting, a recap will be shared by email and available at AISDfuture.com, where the latest information related to the Brentwood modernization and all 2017 Bond projects can be found. There will also be another community meeting held the evening of Wednesday, December 11. More details for this meeting will be shared in the coming days.
Thank you for your continued support as we work to create 21st-century learning spaces and reinvent the urban school experience together.
