As part of the 2017 Bond Program, LBJ Early College High School will receive campus upgrades including a modernized two-story media center and spaces for the school’s new health sciences program. The Liberal Arts and Sciences Academy (LASA), which is currently located within the LBJ facility, will be also be relocated to the current Eastside Memorial campus. Additional work will take place at LBJ to prepare the campus for this transition and accommodate a larger student body.

Austin ISD is hosting a virtual meeting for neighbors and community members to learn more about the LBJ modernization and construction timeline, as well as ask questions. Given the unique circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, along with AISD’s commitment to protecting public health, the district will be conducting this public meeting virtually.
