Bowie High School

James Bowie High School offers college preparatory classes, Advanced Placement coursework, foreign languages, fine arts, Air Force JROTC, numerous athletics programs, and career and technology programs. Through the 2017 Bond Program, Bowie received a Phase 1 modernization of the existing building, which included improved parking facilities and a new student parking garage, renovations to athletics spaces, and a new fine arts auditorium. All components of the modernization were completed for the start of the August 2022 school year.
