Background
T.A. Brown is one of the first schools to be built in the 2017 Bond program and is scheduled for fast-track delivery, with a planned opening in January 2020.
As part of the Facility Master Plan approved by the Austin ISD Board of Trustees on April 3, 2017, Webb Primary will join the T.A. Brown community once the modernized facility is constructed.
ERO Architects and Rogers-O’Brien have been contracted by the district for this project. A Campus Architectural Team, made up of members of your school community, has been meeting regularly with the project team since November to provide input as we seek to create an environment for 21st century learning.

Community Meetings
As part of the district’s commitment to communicate the bond progress to the community, we want to be sure you are aware of opportunities for public engagement around key project milestones.
On Wednesday, July 18, you are invited to attend a community meeting to learn more about the T.A. Brown modernization, including a preview of the schematic design for the project, which includes solidified goals and draft drawings of the new school. The project team will also review the project parameters, how the district’s educational specifications are being met, and any prior feedback leading up to this meeting and how that is being applied. The meeting will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Webb Middle School Library. We hope to see you there!
Additionally, please mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 29, and join the T.A. Brown and Webb Primary communities for a site dedication as this project prepares to move into the construction phase! Additional details will be shared in early August.
