On March 6, Austin ISD and the Liberal Arts and Sciences Academy (LASA) held a neighborhood and alumni meeting to discuss the LASA transition to the Johnston campus. As part of the 2017 Bond Program, Eastside Memorial ECHS and International High School will move into a modernized facility to serve both schools at the Original L.C. Anderson campus site. The new school is on track to open to students for the fall 2021 semester. At that time, the Liberal Arts and Sciences Academy (LASA) will move from its current location at LBJ Early College High School to the current Eastside Memorial Early College High School, located at the Johnston campus.
